Kevin Tochtrop
CPA

Kevin Tochtrop is a Graduate of Truman State University with a BS degree majoring in Accounting and Mathematics.  He received his CPA certificate from Missouri in November 1979.  He has spent his entire career in public accounting, starting his own practice in 1994.  His duties with the firm include tax return preparation, tax planning, business formation, and review of tax returns and financial statements.  Kevin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of CPAs (MOCPA).

Senior Accountant

Debbie Kampschroeder is a senior accountant with the firm. Her primary duties include preparing compiled and reviewed financial statements, computer support, and preparing business and individual income tax returns. She is a Certified QuickBooks Proadvisor, and completed the Enrolled Agent Exam in September 2002.

Tina DeClue is a senior accountant with the firm. Her primary duties include preparing compiled and reviewed financial statements, computer support, and preparing business and individual income tax returns. She is a Certified QuickBooks Proadvisor, and completed the Enrolled Agent Exam in September 2002.

Lynn Tochtrop
Payroll Supervisor/Administrative

Lynn Tochtrop is an accountant and administrative assistant with the firm. Her duties with the firm include preparing payrolls, payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, individual income tax returns, and administrative duties. She is a Graduate of East Central College at Union with an Associate’s degree in Business Management and Retailing. She completed a course in individual income tax preparation and participates in annual continuing education on individual income tax preparation.

Diane Rucker
Executive Assistant

Diane Rucker is the firm’s executive assistant. Her duties include corporate and limited liability company registrations, payroll and payroll tax preparation, computer system administration, and other administrative duties. She is a Graduate of Hickey College at St Louis with an Administrative Assistant degree. Prior to joining the firm in June 1996 she had eight years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant.

Laurie Walde
Staff Accountant

Laurie Walde is a staff accountant. Her duties with the firm include preparing payrolls, payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, processing individual tax returns, and performing billing and accounts payable services for clients. She worked in the accounting office of a large retail company for 18 years.

Michael Tochtrop

Michael Tochtrop is a Graduate of Missouri State University with a BS degree in Administrative Management. He received his CPA certificate from Missouri in May 2023. He has worked at Tochtrop & Associates since 2017. His duties include business and individual tax return preparation, tax planning, and financial statement preparation. He is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of CPAs (MOCPA).

Brianna Hofstetter
Senior Accountant

Brianna Hofstetter is an accountant with the firm. Her duties with the firm include preparing business and individual income tax returns, preparing compiled and reviewed financial statements, preparing payrolls, payroll tax returns, and sales tax returns. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She is a Graduate of Missouri State University in Springfield with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with an emphasis in Accounting.

Jeannae Young

Jeannae Young is a Graduate of Westminster College with a BA degree in Accounting and History and a minor in Business Administration.  She received her CPA certificate from Missouri in March 2019.  Prior to joining the firm in August 2025, she had over 7 years of public accounting experience.  Her primary duties include preparing compiled and reviewed financial statements and preparing business and individual income tax returns. She is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs (MOCPA).

Michele Steever
Executive Assistant

Michele Steever is the firm’s executive assistant. She has over 15 years of professional administrative experience. As the first point of contact, she provides transactional support to staff and clients.

Linda Baumstark
Staff Accountant

Linda Baumstark is a staff accountant. Her duties with the firm include preparing individual income tax returns, processing payrolls, payroll tax returns, and sales tax returns. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for 6 years at another CPA Office and has over 20 years of professional experience in the Financial Services Industry.
